ABOUT THIS BLOG

“Are you going to write a blog?”, my aunt asked a few days before I moved to Edinburgh. “No,” I answered plainly, I hadn’t really given it any thought. But then I moved, and I started thinking. Random things started to happen, and I wanted to share them. So, here it is, my blog. I hope you enjoy my ramblings about my move to Edinburgh, my PhD journey and me missing my dog, probably.

I started this blog at a time when I should have been writng my PhD but was overwhelmed with anxiety to write. So, this is either a way of overcoming my fear or postponing my academic writing. Only time will tell.

And who am I? That's a secret I'll never tell. (This is obviously not true, I'm a Belgian person who just moved to Edinburgh for their PhD, a nerd who likes to read non fiction books, a deaf person that loves to sing - especially around other deaf people, don't worry -, a swimmer who only swims like once every month, a vegetarian that loves sushi and the gayest gay that ever gayed. People call me Ine.)
